Mizens Railway 1940’s Weekend, Surrey

Join us ​once again as we turn the clock back to the 1940’s, a time of rationing, bravery, camaraderie, and the infamous ‘Blitz Spirit’.  

This years event will take place over the weekend Saturday 3rd September 14:00 – 17:00 and Sunday 4th September 12:00 – 17:00.

Enjoy rides on our miniature trains (charges apply), period music provided by local DJ ‘DJ UXB’, singalong to wartime favourites with vintage singer Vera Andrews and enjoy refreshments in our 1940’s themed cafe.

There will be displays around the site, military and civilian re-enactors.

We will be holding a two minutes silence to remember the fallen.

​A full programme of events will be available each day.

​Dressing up 1940’s style actively encouraged; there will be ‘best dressed’ competitions.

​All monies raised donated to charity; exact details to be confirmed.
